When (and how) payouts reach your bank

3 min readUpdated May 2026

Payments your customers make through Buvvo checkout settle to the bank account you confirmed in Selling → Payments. Buvvo does not hold your money.

  • All payments and payouts are in Naira.
  • Payout timing does not change with the payment method. Card, bank transfer and USSD all settle the same way.
  • To change where money lands, update your bank account in Selling → Payments. That change is protected by a one-time code.

Automatic settlement vs manual payouts

Selling → Payments shows which of the two applies to you, so you always know what to expect.

  • Automatic (shown as “Live”): the payment provider splits each successful payment straight to your bank account, usually the same day. Nothing passes through Buvvo.
  • Manual (shown as “Manual payouts”): your account is saved and working, but automatic settlement has not been switched on for it yet. Payments land in the Buvvo account and our team transfers them to the same bank account you saved. You are moved to automatic as soon as it is available, with no action from you.
Buvvo charges a flat subscription, never a percentage of your sales, so payouts are your full settlement from the payment provider.
