Getting started
9 questionsYes. You keep your existing WhatsApp Business number and connect it to Buvvo through the official Meta WhatsApp Business connection. Customers message exactly the same number as before.
Yes, and it is the route most vendors pick. On the Shop then WhatsApp page, choose "I already use WhatsApp Business" and Buvvo joins the account you already sell from. You keep the WhatsApp Business app on your phone, nothing is deleted, and up to six months of your past chats and your contacts come across into the Buvvo inbox. The other route, "Set up a new number", is for a fresh line that lives on Buvvo only.
Open Shop then WhatsApp in the dashboard and pick "I already use WhatsApp Business", then click "Link my WhatsApp Business". Log in to Facebook or Meta, choose your existing Meta Business and your existing WhatsApp Business Account, then open WhatsApp Business on your phone and go to Settings then Linked devices to scan the QR code the popup shows. Finish the popup and the WhatsApp page flips to "Connected". Keep your phone next to you, because the QR scan is the step people miss.
It depends on the route you pick. If you link the WhatsApp Business account you already use, up to six months of past chats and your contacts come across into the Buvvo inbox. If you set up a brand new number instead, you start with an empty inbox, so back up anything important on the old line first.
Yes, if you linked the WhatsApp Business account you already use. The app keeps working on your phone and Buvvo works the same number alongside it, so you can answer from either. Your display picture and business info stay managed in the WhatsApp Business app.
Connect your WhatsApp Business number through the official Meta connection, either by linking the WhatsApp Business account you already use or by setting up a new number. Then add your products manually or with a bulk spreadsheet upload, set up how you want the AI to sound, and switch it on. From there Buvvo answers customers, takes orders, and sends payment links inside WhatsApp.
Yes. The Free plan is ₦0 and includes 50 AI replies a month, basic checkout links, and Pidgin and English AI. Paid plans come with a 7-day free trial. Start free at app.buvvo.ng/register.
Buvvo is built for Nigeria and available to vendors nationwide, from Lagos and Abuja to Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kano and beyond. Wherever you sell in Nigeria, Buvvo works.
Each Buvvo shop is built around one WhatsApp Business number, with its own catalog, team and analytics. If you run a second shop on a separate number, set it up as its own Buvvo shop.
The AI helper
5 questionsPidgin and English. Those are the two languages the AI supports on every plan, including Free.
Yes. Once you switch the AI on, it replies to customers automatically: answering questions, taking orders, and sending payment links. There is no draft mode and nothing to approve. You can switch it off whenever you want.
Yes. You set up the tone yourself, so the AI replies the way your shop talks to customers. It is a setting you configure, not something the AI learns from your past messages.
Refunds and complaints. Those always go to a human on your team, the AI never handles them on its own. Everything else, like product questions, orders, and payment links, it handles automatically.
The AI replies in 0.4 seconds on average, so your customers get an answer almost instantly instead of waiting for you to be free.
Pricing & billing
7 questionsFree is ₦0. Growth is ₦5,000 a month. Scale is ₦25,000 a month. Paid plans come with a 7-day free trial, and you can cancel any time. Full breakdown on the Pricing page.

Yes. You can change plans from your dashboard and cancel any time.
Prices shown are before 7.5% VAT for Nigerian businesses.
Payments & payouts
4 questionsYour customers pay by card, bank transfer, or USSD. Buvvo sends a payment link in the chat, and when the customer pays, the payment is confirmed automatically and the order is marked paid in your dashboard.
Money from your sales settles to the bank account you confirm in your dashboard, and Buvvo never holds it. Once automatic settlement is switched on for your account, the payment provider splits each successful payment straight to your bank, usually the same day. Until then your account is saved and our team transfers your sales to that same account. Your dashboard shows which of the two applies to you, and the timing is the same whether the customer paid by card, bank transfer or USSD.
No. Buvvo charges a flat monthly subscription, never a percentage of your sales.
No. Buvvo works in Naira only, and customers pay in Naira by card, bank transfer, or USSD. International payments through Stripe are coming soon but are not live yet.
Marketplace
7 questionsThe Buvvo Marketplace is a public directory of Nigerian vendors who sell on WhatsApp. Every vendor gets a shop page showing what they sell, and buyers can find a shop and start a WhatsApp chat with the vendor in one tap.
Search or filter the Marketplace by product, category, or city and state. Each result opens the vendor’s shop page, where you can see their catalog and tap to message them on WhatsApp.
Vendors on the Marketplace are real Nigerian shops selling through their own WhatsApp Business numbers, connected through the official Meta business connection. Some carry a verified badge, which the Buvvo team applies, and you can filter the Marketplace to show only those shops. There is no public KYC application to join: every listed shop is a working business, badge or not.
You buy directly from the vendor on WhatsApp, so you can ask questions and confirm details before you pay by card, bank transfer, or USSD through the payment link the vendor sends. Buvvo does not hold your money or offer escrow, so treat it like any direct purchase: chat with the vendor and confirm the order before paying.
Open the vendor’s shop page on the Marketplace and tap to start a WhatsApp chat. The conversation happens in your normal WhatsApp, straight with the vendor.
Sign up for Buvvo and your shop is listed automatically. There is no application, no waiting list and no listing fee: a listing is included with every plan, including Free, from the moment your shop exists. Filling in your shop details and catalog is what makes the listing worth finding.
No. Your Buvvo shop page is your storefront: buyers can see what you sell and message you on WhatsApp directly from it. No separate website needed.
Security & data
3 questionsYour customer conversations are only visible to you and the team members you add. Every sign-in needs a one-time code, not just a password, sessions are tied to the device that created them and expire on their own, and traffic to Buvvo runs over HTTPS. Roles limit what each teammate can reach, and sensitive actions are written to an audit trail.
Your customer chats belong to you, and only you and the team members you add can see them. The AI reads a conversation in order to answer it, and your chats are never used to train shared AI models. Buvvo staff do not read your chats as a matter of course. A small number of staff can reach them for support and abuse investigations, and any change they make to your account is written to an audit trail.
You can cancel any time, and cancelling deletes nothing: your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then your shop moves to the Free plan with your inbox, catalog and orders intact. Want a copy of your data? Email hello@buvvo.ng from the address on your account and we will send your catalog, orders and customer list as CSV files, on any plan. Want it gone? Ask us to delete the shop and we will, permanently, and confirm once it is done.
Team & permissions
1 questionYes. Buvvo supports team seats, so you and your staff work from one shared inbox, filtered by what needs a person: All, Needs you, AI handling and Closed. Seat counts include you: Free is 1 seat, Growth is 2 (you plus one teammate), and Scale is 5 (you plus four).

Scale comes with a 99.9% uptime commitment. On Free and Growth we work hard to keep Buvvo reliable, but we do not publish a separate uptime figure for those plans.
